Extended Schools Wraparound

St Luke's offers two breakfast clubs, various after school activities and Excite after school club as we understand how important enriched childcare is to parents and children.

 

Magic Breakfast 

8.00am – 8.40am (Pupils should not arrive after 8.25am to allow learners time to eat their food.)  This is a provision to provide breakfast for pupils entitled to Pupil Premium. As the session is mainly funded by Magic Breakfast, this is free. Parent of pupils invited must book in their child’s sessions.

 

Wraparound

Healthy Start Breakfast Club - Sports City

7.30am - 8.40am

Activities: Arts and crafts, learning aids, numeracy/ literacy, multi-sports, board games, cooking and fun activities. Bookings and queries via Sports City.Healthy Start Breakfast - Sports City flyer

 

Xcite After School Club - Sports City

3.00pm - 6.00pm

Activities: Arts and crafts, learning aids, numeracy/ literacy, homework club, multi-sports, board games, cooking, movies, music and fun activities. Health snacks provided. Bookings and queries via Sports City, see attached flyer.

Extended Activities

3.00pm - 4.00pm (school based - cooking, reading etc)

3.00pm - 4.00pm (sport based with Premier Sports)

 

As well offering paid activities, we will be continue to use some of our Pupil Premium funding to provide free clubs to pupils entitled to pupil premium. Each PP pupil will receive at least one funded club throughout the next academic year.

We will also use Primary Sports Grant and/or Pupil Premium funding to offer the following opportunities:

A funded sports ‘Wellbeing’ Club for selected pupils with special needs or pupils who could benefit from this club. 

An all year funded football club for selected pupils in Years 4 - 6 on Fridays and Saturday football club. This opportunity is for pupils to be selected for the St Luke’s Football Team in the Lambeth and Southwark Primary School Saturday Football League (from the end of September).
